ICONS-Concours in Mallorca also means: A “Next Generation”-jury evaluates the Concours according to its very own criteria.

The aim of the ICONS is for tradition and further development to meet and complement each other. The new ‘Next Generation’-jury – the only one of its kind in the world to date – has its own criteria for evaluating the concours contestants.Whereas elsewhere the provenance, years of manufacture and chassis numbers, condition, rarity and originality are taken very strictly as the first hurdle, the ‘young guns’ of the next generation judges take a different approach in their own group: Here, design, progressiveness in vehicle history, innovation, colouring and often also historical references in automotive cultural history or the world of fashion are more important than the traditional criteria only.

We are looking forward to the criteria of the ‘Next Generation’-judges – an exciting group of young ladies and gentlemen with a passion for cars and mobility.

In addition to the ICONS Committee, Chiara Aichele and Michael Gross are the idea generators.

The group of judges includes:  Luna Bond (Petersen Museum), Laura Burstein (NY/LA), Jasper C. Walther (Munich), Iana Petrivska (Polling) and Katharina Gassmann (Bovenden) and Anna-Louise Felstead (UK).
