The Beach Cars are an emotional element of chilled life, travelling, jet-set and contagious soulfulness with highly individual car-design. No matter whether you choose a FIAT Jolly, a Mini Moke, a Citroen Mehari, DAF, Seat 600 Playero, Renault 4CV Jolly or R4 Plein Air or a Meyers Manx or VW Beach Buggy… you have all the options to join “Gran Mar” with the little heroes of the beach.
Aristotle Onassis had one, as did Grace Kelly, and, of course, Gianni Agnelli, who wanted to belong to the “haute volée” in the 1960s, had one. Who wants to be participant of the Beach Car Meeting should bring one.
Inviting beach cars from the island of Mallorca is one idea – this is the place they all belong to. The other idea is to invite cars from all over Europe to join in. Come on – set sails and come!
“Gran Mar” is the alternative program in the “Mobility Week for Good” – be part of the whole event and the whole week. Be in a 100% summer mood – nearly no dress codes. Come on – jump in. By the way: The modern interpretations of the beach cars offered now by the brands will be allowed to … prototypes and concept cars as well. 10 cars will be allowed to participate in the meeting.
The Concours d´Élégance “The Grand” will be hosted by ICONS at the world-known Golf Club Son Vida and the Castillo Hotel Son Vida near Palma. ICONS promises places of uniqueness for a unique group of entrants.
It would be phenomenal to start a legendary meeting of unique and rare beach cars in a community of very special owners and friends in ICONS 2024 on Mallorca. In case of any questions please just get in touch.

WEDNESDAY
October 2nd, 2024
- High-Noon: Meeting of beach-cars in Puerto Portals Nous
- Photo shootings in Portals and Port Adriano – then driving to beach-club or meeting at beach-club
- Evening – Meeting the “La Vitesse” women-teams at Assaona Beach Club in Palma (reserved area)
- Highlight: Photo shooting of cars on the beach in front of the club
- Parking in front of the club
- Evening with snacks, food, and cocktails in the Beach (Car)-Club
THURSDAY
October 3rd, 2024
- Beach Car Tour thru Palma – to Port Adriano and to Port Andraxt
- Leisure time
- ICONS Evening Reception and Dinner in Palma (together with all entrants from all parts) in Castell de Bellver
FRIDAY
October 4th, 2024
- Concours preparation
- Morning-Call – setting beach-cars as special guests on the concours-grounds
- Concours “The Grand” in Golf Son Vida
- Judging be international jury of experts
- Farewell from Son Vida
SATURDAY
October 5th, 2024
Optional / requires add. booking:
- Public Day „Auto-Biography“
- A meeting of all entrants to reach the public with the stories of coachbuilding, collecting and the life story of the beach-cars
- Port Andratx is the stage for the presentation (10:30 am – 2:30 pm)
- Lunch in Port Andratx
- Presentation-Drive in front of jury
- Evening Reception with the cars surrounding the owners, judges and VIP-guests
